ETH NFTs have grown tremendously since 2017

This article was meant to be posted on Sept 7th. It was made at the time of writing on Sept 7th.

We are in a bear market, but… let’s zoom out and check the data.

How much have ETH NFTs grown since mid-2017 compared to
the current last 3 months (so far) of this year?

ETH NFTs: the first 3 months I found that have recorded data of NFTs in the ETH chain are June, July, and August of 2017.

The total volume of each month:
June: $11.5k
July: $89.1k
Aug: $15.1k

According to @cryptoslamio

Now comparing July, August, and September (so far) of 2022 in ETH NFTs.
July: $535M in vol
Aug: $496M
Sept: $55M (so far).

From 11.5k in 2017 to around 535M is… quite A LOT, and extremely impressive.
